Texas Fluid Dynamics Meeting • April 11-13, 2014
at the Canyon of the Eagles Resort on Lake Buchanan in Central Texas
The Texas Fluid Dynamics Meeting is a technical meeting and retreat for the researchers working in the field of fluid mechanics in the state of Texas area. The meeting setting is informal and it serves as an ideal environment for graduate students or newer faculty to present their research.

The Texas Fluid Dynamics Meeting will be a three day event held at the Canyon of the Eagles Resort on Lake Buchanan in central Texas. Some of the amenities include a swimming pool, TV lounge, 14 miles of hiking and biking trails, complementary internet access, and a observatory operated by the Austin Astronomical Society within a mile of the resort.
The cost of the meeting this year is for accommodations only. The conference room fees, meals at the Canyon of the Eagles and coffee/tea/water breaks between sessions and snacks have been paid by Texas Tech University-NWRC.

ACCOMMODATIONS and MEALS
Participants of the Texas Fluid Dynamics Meeting will stay at the Canyon of the Eagles Resort which has a range of amenities. The resort offers single rooms for faculty and double occupancy rooms for students. Room accommodations are on a first come, first serve basis. Single occupancy rooms do have a padded shelf area that small children can sleep on comfortably, should you choose to invite your family. All chef prepared meals are buffet style and are included into the fixed rate negotiated for the participants of the meeting. The organizing committee will need to know of any dietary restrictions in advance of the meeting. Vegetarian dishes will be provided.
